6 Understand How To Craft
Crafting in Crowfall is pretty straightforward. Go out into the world and gather materials, then jam them together to create another item. To be more specific, players can open their menu with the ‘I’ key and drag their materials into the slots that appear when they select what item they want to craft.
There are certain slots in this menu that are called Wildcard Slots. These slots won’t say a specific item; rather, they will say that one item or the other can be used. For instance, it may ask for either wood or stone. Whichever one a player adds into that slot will change the outcome of the item they are crafting.
5 Optimize Experience Gains
Eventually, players will need to enter combat with the various creatures that reside in the world of Crowfall. When this happens, players will be tempted to kill as much as they can to level up quickly. However, the best way to optimize experience gains is to not kill countless enemies.
Rather, pay attention to the experience bar and understand that excess experience doesn’t loop into the next level. If a player is close to leveling up, it is better to pick off one enemy at a time than destroy an entire group at once. The excess experience will just be wasted.

Gold can be used to purchase a wide range of items that can be useful for a new MMO player, but it comes at knowing the value of gold. Sure, a player can go around collecting resources and sell them all for gold. They can become very wealthy that way.
But what happens when all that gold just ends up sitting there? Don’t get rid of useful resources just because the gold seems like it would be nice to have in the future. It is best to sell items when a vendor has something a player wants or needs — don’t try to get rich just for the sake of it.
