Because the creation tools in Dreams are so advanced, people have created not just games, but also movies, music, and art. There are tons of things to see and play in Dreams, and these are some of the best so far.
10 Milk EP
Created by DISARMEDX, Milk EP is a collection of four original music tracks played over a looping background of a rotating milk carton. It’s a shining example of what Dreams can be. It’s unique, it’s creative, and it’s something that wouldn’t have been possible in a game like LittleBigPlanet. Dreams isn’t just a place for games, but a place for any and all types of creative expression. It doesn’t hurt that the music is pretty solid, too. Once you’re done listening to the Milk EP, be sure to check out some of DISARMEDX’s other tracks created in Dreams as well.
9 P.T.
Although Konami may have removed it from the PlayStation Store, P.T. lives on in Dreams thanks to creator lewisc729. This creation is a complete remake of the original playable teaser, complete with the same spooky lighting and sound effects. Since its initial release, P.T. has been played over 150,000 times, making it one of the game’s most popular creations ever.

It’s also a practically perfect remake of an important part of gaming history. Dreams is chock full of remakes of all types of games, but lewisc729’s P.T. stands among the best of them.
8 Solid Gears Are Metal
Another Dreams creation inspired by a Konami classic, Solid Gears Are Metal, created by GBALX, pays homage to the legendary Metal Gear Solid series. This game aims to recreate Metal Gear Solid’s VR missions, tasking players with sneaking past guards and hiding under boxes. It’s a pretty simple premise, but the execution and charm are on another level, making this creation a must-play for anyone new to Dreams. The only drawback is that it’s very short, but that just leaves you with more time to explore the many other creations available in Dreams.
7 Coruscant
This creation isn’t a game, but it’s another demonstration of how powerful the creation tools available in Dreams are. It’s a living painting of the Star Wars planet Coruscant, featuring ships coming and going as the sun sets behind a bustling galactic metropolis. It’s hands down one of the best audiovisual creations in all of Dreams, and creator abysmalsquare2 really knows their way around the game’s sculpting tools.
6 Dinorama
An adorable platformer that’s just as charming as Yoshi’s Crafted World, Dinorama, created by Digitalthing, is an excellent side-scroller that’s an absolute joy to play. Everything about Dinorama just oozes charm, and it’s hard to not crack a smile while you’re playing it. It’s short, sweet, and the perfect length for what it is.

It’s also an example of the collaborative possibilities of Dreams, as it features music made by an entirely different creator, j_plusb. Dinorama shouldn’t take too long to complete, so it’s highly recommended that every Dreams player at least check out the game for a little while.
5 GridSlice
GridSlice is an arcade puzzle game created by c00kedturkey where you have to slice through blocks to earn points. It includes a full 12 level arcade mode on top of an endless mode that can be replayed to compete for high scores. It’s been a popular creation ever since it was released, and it’s even currently featured as an MM Pick on the front page of Dreams. This is a game that would feel right at home on the App Store, and it’s one of the best games to play in Dreams right now.
4 Bowling With Guns
Bowling With Guns, created by Fyshokid, is exactly what it sounds like. It’s your typical bowling alley, only there aren’t any bowling balls. Instead, you have to line up your crosshair perfectly in order to get a strike.

The physics can be a bit wonky at times, but the sheer originality of the concept combined with the humor of seeing bowling pins flying everywhere after being shot makes Bowling With Guns an instant classic for the Dreams community. There’s even local multiplayer support if you want to bring some friends over for an evening of sharpshooting at the lanes.
3 Full Beech Breakfast
Full Beech Breakfast, created by THE_ARCH1TECT, is an example of the Showcase category in Dreams. The Showcase category is a place for art, models, and scenes, and what better thing to showcase than a photorealistic English breakfast?
THE_ARCH1TECT is a master of sculpting in Dreams, creating various scenes with a focus on realism, but Full Beech Breakfast is definitely the most successful of those scenes, going on to be featured as an MM Pick for the Showcase category. No matter how close you zoom in, Full Beech Breakfast never loses any detail, and it’s a testament to what people can create in Dreams.
2 City Simulator
The joys of SimCity have come to Dreams courtesy of City Simulator, created by zanders3. In this creation, you can build your own city, planning zones and infrastructure to earn cash and grow a population of citizens. It’s not as in-depth as an actual standalone city builder, but it’s more than enough to keep you engaged for a few minutes, which is all it takes to fill the relatively small area provided for building. Still, attempting to maximize efficiency within the paltry city limits can extend playtime significantly, and City Simulator is an excellent proof of concept for the city builder genre in Dreams.
1 Fret Star
Fret Star, created by j_plusb, captures the magic of Guitar Hero without the plastic guitar. There are only a few tracks, but the presentation really sells the experience. The song list and note highway look as if they were lifted straight out of a Guitar Hero or Rock Band game, and the original songs used for the game are great as well. You might recognize creator j_plusb as the musician who contributed to Dinorama, too. j_plusb is one of the most talented music creators to arise in Dreams so far, and it definitely shows.
